I just stumbled across that screwing around on Google. It's a Starcraft battle report dated 06/24/99. It's so stupid that I couldn't have written it, and it's also so stupid that I could have. I don't think I did though. If I didn't write it, who did, and why did they use my name? lol

You were a big spammer/poster on the bnet forums back then, so maybe the guy was using your name to get hits for his stupid battle report. Or maybe you actually thought that a 3v1 comp worker rush was actually worth talking about. Both scenarios are very plausible.

It is simple to figure out. Where were you on the afternoon of June 24th 1999?

I agree with Basin, that feature is pretty kick ass

Ok, two things.

1) That battle report sounds like something Basin would have done (the harvester rush).

2) 1999 roughly corresponds to when Basin and I discovered, and were both incredibly amused by, the blink and scroll tags.


At the same time though, the battle report doesn't have Basin's trademark writing style. Nor does it appear to be written by me.

Still, I have to assume it was either him or me.

Someone north of the border would have been my first guess too =p
